People behind Mal
Tom first trained as a chef at University College Birmingham; however his career at the Mal began with the opening of Malmaison Birmingham in 2003 where he worked at the hotel's popular bar. He then moved on to Malmaison Glasgow where he became the deputy General Manager before moving on to Malmaison Edinburgh in May 2009 to take up the role of General Manager. In his free time he enjoys golf, and what he loves most about working at Malmaison Edinburgh is that it is the mother ship: the first of all the Malmaison hotels.
